Floor Construction

Here are some pictures showing how the Shelters floors are constructed.

This floor is approximately three times stronger than the average wood joist floor in a typical wood frame house. NOT two pieces of plywood nailed together with a 2x4 on it’s side. But rather a double 2x6 joist construction on sixteen inch center. Providing the load rating of 300+ pounds.

Floor tile, linoleum, or carpet can be installed in any color.
